A Noah’s Ark theme nursery is a popular selection for baby boys and baby girls. In addition to being absolutely adorable, the Noah’s Ark theme gives new parents a place to store the boat-load of stuffed animals from friends, family, and grandparents. - Measure out how wide the bottom of the arch will be.
- Mark out the exact midpoint of the bottom of the rainbow.
- Hammer a nail into this mark on the wall, but leave a portion of the nail sticking out.
- Cut a length of string half as wide as the bottom measurement of the rainbow.
- Tie one end of the string to the nail and the other to a piece of chalk.
- Pull the string tight and use the chalk to draw an arch. This is the outline of the top of the rainbow.
- Shorten the string and reattach the chalk to draw a smaller arch.
- Shorten the string again and draw increasingly smaller arches until there are six spaces for color on the rainbow.
- Use craft paint to fill in the top arch with red, the next with orange, then yellow, green, blue, and purple.
